Growing up in the 80s and the 90s make me thankful for I had grown up with many of the best animated cartoons, Tiny Toons being one of them. In many ways, the cartoons of the 80s/90s were the best for they had adventure, action, witty humor(and no toilet/rotten humor), good vs.evil emotion and personality. Shows like Tiny Toons and other shows of the 80s and 90s were made in very good taste - they had really smart humor and nice cultural references, they did'nt have any dirty or obscene material, and as opposed to many modern TV shows, movies and animated films that try to be funny by being dirty, this show and other shows were funny in a good clean way. As a fan of Tiny Toon Adventures, I was pleased to hear about the second volume. I was happy with the first volume and hearing about the second volume has me excited. Fans of Tiny Toons, 80s/90s cartoons would be happy to hear of this volume. This set comes in 4 discs and contains the rest of the first season.
Tiny Toon Advenuters is about a generation of toon kids who attend a school called Acme Looniversity where Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes characters are teachers and teach them on how to become the second generation of toons. They're adventures are often parodies of movies, tv shows, comic books and other forms of popular culture. Tiny Toon Adventures is a witty show that often contained political and entertainment satire. Caricature versions of celebrities made frequent appearances, though were almost always voiced by imitators, and often appeared under parody names.
Tiny Toon Adventures debuted in 1990 and was shown on Fox Kids and later put into syndication. A major precedent for the series was the success of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. This is one good show you may want to share with your kids and your family. I myself remember growing up with this show and those who also grew up with 80s/90s shows and Fox Kids will appreciate this. Tiny Toon Adventures is a series that kids, teens and adults of all ages can enjoy.

In my opinion, Steven Spielberg's Tiny Toon Adventures, along with its follow-up show Animaniacs, were the very best animated comedy shows of the early 90s. I was delighted to see the first volume of Tiny Toon Adventures' first season coming to DVD, and of course the first volume left me eager for more. And very soon, on the 21st of April, 2009, the wacky world of Acme Acres, along with its cute, funny, loony characters, will be back with the remaining 30 fun-packed episodes of the first season! Tiny Toons never failed to make me laugh when I was a kid and they never fail to make me laugh now that I'm an adult. Tiny Toon Adventures is a show that's made in very good taste - it has really smart humor and nice cultural references, it doesn't have any dirty or obscene material, and as opposed to many modern TV shows that try to be funny by being dirty, Tiny Toon Adventures is very funny in a good, clean way. Tiny Toons has something for all ages - kids and teenagers will have a lot of fun and will actually learn some life lessons along the way (the show has some 'educational' episodes meant to bring a message to the children), while the adults will appreciate the smart humor and cultural references. And of course, everybody will appreciate the top-quality animation created by some of the greatest animation studios of the day (Tokyo Movie Shinsha, anyone?), will love the nicely drawn cute characters, each of which is well thought-out and has his/her own personality, and will adore the fun-packed stories in each of the episodes.
In case you're a fan of good, high-quality classic animation, or if you like animated comedy shows, or if you just like to have fun and if you have a good sense of humor, don't miss Tiny Toon Adventures! If you got the first volume of the first season, I'm sure you'll adore the second volume too, and if you haven't yet experienced Tiny Toon Adventures, it might just as well be a good idea to grab both volumes and prepare for a few days of fun and wackiness!

Tiny Toon Adventures is a MOST REMEMBERIABLE cartoon for the 90s! I WILL BE HAPPY after Season 1, Volume 2 arrives on April 21, 2009! Tiny Toon Adventures Season 2 has 13 episodes, and Season 3 has 20 episodes, so WHY NOT release them in one final DVD Package? It will be another FINE 4-Disc set.

Before I start this review I would like to state that I am going to be very descriptive. If you plan to read through this I suggest grabbing some popcorn. So let's get started.
Tiny Toons is the type of cartoon I can watch over and over and still love it to this day. The writers and creators that came up with this show are geniuses. No matter what age I am, this show will always make me laugh since I can understand all the adult humor they use. I can never get enough of this show, with how colorful and creative the characters are and all the different types of adventures they go through, how could I even consider getting bored of this cartoon? This wraps up season 1 and if you like this sort of cartoon, it will leave you wanting more. I would definitely recommend buying this.
Next I want to talk about the quality of this DVD. I noticed there were people who said the quality was bad, some even went so far as to say that it was horrible. I personally thought it was excellent and I'm usually picky about high quality. Maybe if you had your eyes pressed against the screen and were looking through a magnifying glass, then maybe you'll notice a few grainy pictures. My guess is that these people have their DVD players running through normal RCA cables, not a good idea to use RCA cables on any HD TV because it will heavily pixelate the video enough to the point where it's unwatchable. I ran my DVD through RCA just to test this and the video then, was very grainy. Upgrading to component video might be the answer for some and if it's still not good enough, then their judgements are set too high.
Next in line I'll speak about the episodes. There is one episode in this DVD that is slightly edited, and by slightly I mean barely. In the episode "Son of the Wacko World of Sports", the title cards were cut out. This originally kind of irritated me, but instead of screaming about this I looked that episode up and found out that they only cut out the title cards, none of the actual episodes were cut. Look this episode up on YouTube if you wish to see the 30 seconds that were cut. I know they shouldn't have done that, but just think they could have done worse. The only other slight detail I found out was that in the Music Television episode, Buster tells us to call, and 1*800*555*ACME is supposed to appear on screen, but it doesn't. Those two cuts were all I noticed they took out. Little cuts like that I can easily say whatever to. Thankfully the music episodes themselves didn't have to be cut out.
Finally I just want to talk about some research I've been doing since I have so much time on my hands. If you're still reading this, I'm very surprised. It's been quite some time since this was released and people are wondering if seasons 2 and 3 will ever get released. Even a little research can go a long way. I originally posted links, but doing so might make people assume it's a bad link, I just like backing up my research. I first came across a timeline that shows all of the activity that has happened since Warner decided to release this on DVD, you can easily notice the time gaps even when they stated they were going to release it on DVD. I decided to research even more and came across The Annual Chat with Warner and they had a list of shows they are working on for the rest of 2010. This was back in April and Warner also had a list of what they "are currently" not working on at the moment and Tiny Toons is in that list. Simply because of this people like to jump on the band wagon and claim that Warner will never release the rest of the series. Apparently Warner seems to be holding off on a bunch of shows that only have one more volume to get released. They are most likely trying to get other shows on their feet before they finally decide to release the final volumes of all those shows. As people can say, these things take time, sometimes even years to complete. I don't really think they would just abandon Tiny Toons when it has the name Steven Spielberg on it. My final line would be that I'll still continue to have faith that Warner will eventually release the rest of the series, I know it may still take some time, but it's better late than never. So why am I saying this? I'm just a huge fan, that's all.

When I got this set, I was very relieved to see that there were only single sided discs included. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed to see that there were absolutely no special features included on this set.
This set contains the remaining thirty episodes of the first season of Tiny Toons. This set includes such classic Tiny Toons episodes as "Career Oppor-Toon-ities," "Ask Mr. Popular," "Mr. Popular's Rules of Cool," "Fairy Tales for the '90s," "Tiny Toon Music Television," "Viewer Mail Day," and "You Asked For It Again."
Overall, this is a decent set for what you get. However, I do wish that some kind of bonus feature had been included in this set.
I wrote this review after watching a copy of this DVD set that my husband and I purchased.
